if you really need an stable version wait until sarge is realeased and
apt-get dist-upgrade. Woody is too old to support that model, AFAIK.
if you do not want to wait change in the /etc/apt/sources.list from
stable to testing and work from there.
It is a pity you did not use the debian-installer[1], it is a great
piece of masterwork.

P.S.: Even that, you are lucky: it is said that sarge is released on
monday :D
