Hi,

This week end, I discovered that "chvt x" works fine with x between 1 and 7, but when I do "chvt x" with x more than 7, the awful image appears and the Powerbook is blocked.
Is it the reason of my problem with the suspend to disk ?

Well... normally, the very first thing that happens when doing suspend
to disk is that it switches to console. If that doesn't happen, I really
don't know what's going on.

Note that I've been reworking significantly the whole suspend/resume
process for pmac, merging parts of disk and ram, improving disk at the
same time, etc...

It's still very experimental, but I hope to have a patch available to
apply on top of 2.6.12 when it gets released. In the meantime, You can
find my preliminary patch on linuxppc-dev list if you want to toy with
it.

Ben.
