Brad,

    Thanks for the information.  I'm going to try it out later tonight
when I get home.
I do not have a /dev/adbmouse (although I have a /dev/adb).  I do
however have a /dev/input/mice so that is the one I will be trying. 
The kernel I'm using is 2.4.27.
