Well, backlight support is in rivafb since quiet some time but only 2.6.10 has everything to get rivafb to work at all on newer powerbooks (NV30 based). The backport would basically be to use the drivers/video/rivafb/ directory from 2.6.10, everything else make little sense. This in fact shouldn't be very painfull... Cheers, -- Guido
