Sure, but I doubt that it is the IEEE-1394 drivers since I did not have problems with the previous patches and CPUfreq disabled.
I will try again with CPUfreq disabled and let you know my results. Unfortunately I am ill at home now and have not taken my power cord with me so it will have to wait a little bit more.
BTW.: Are you able to unload IEEE-1394 modules on your machine, ie. "rmmod eth1394" does not block?
