Hmm - I could swear that udev detects cd devices correctly and creates 
the corresponding devices files. But then again - my CD-ROM is IDE, not 
SCSI - maybe udev has problems with SCSI. If this is the case, have a 
look at /etc/uedv/links.conf and add your device and corresponding links 
manually. Next time you restart, udev should just create them.
