If a ppc kernel does not compile, with an error message like this at the
end of a compile:
cp: cannot stat `arch/ppc/boot/images/vmlinux.coff': No such file or directory
simply repeat the compile after doing this:
touch arch/ppc/boot/images/vmlinux.coff
