This has been a small issue for me for a while now. I have installed the pbbuttonsd package on my Tibook IV, but still have yet to get it working. I've tried using the function keys alone, and with the function button depressed, and I get nothing in X. The only thing I can think of is that I have a different keymap from pbbuttonsd on my book. I have been just using the kernel keymap, anyone have a better idea? sid, 2.6.3-benh Derek
