No, I boot directly with quik -- the machine is a Beige G3 RevII and I
never had the use for an initrd... until now.
What I find surprising is the inconsistent behaviour, first finding the
initrd (but not going further), and then not being able to find it again
(with the same config... I think)
What is the default (recommended, working,...) boot method
for di on OldWorlds ? Since I'd rather _not_ use BootX (had enough work
getting rid of it :-), is .coff with embedded ramdisk the only way ? If
so, how would I build such an image ?
