Re: system crashing

I'm running a ubuntu-4.10 debian-based distribution, w/ a linux-image- kernel, a xfree86-4.3.0.dfsg.1-6 x11 server... and I can see my system crashing randomly and regularly.
note that I'm running my debian on a PowerBook G4 15" 1.5GHz w/ 1Go of memory, a "ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10]" video card, ...

I've found something that seems to be the reason why my system was randomly crashing : temperature. Until I've decreased the global limit temperature, my system has seemed to work really well.

$ echo -5 > /sys/devices/temperatures/limit_adjust

Thanks for people on IRC for their help...
