best kernel config on PowerBook G4 12" 1.33GHz

Dear All,

I'm running my Apple (aluminium) PowerBook G4 1.33GHz 12" under
Debian/Sid. I"m currently running a 2.6.7 kernel (that I compiled).

First, I don't really understand what exactly are the pecularity of my
system? What is common with (eg) a 15" powerbook?
FWIW, lspci gives me

0000:00:0b.0 Host bridge: Apple Computer Inc. UniNorth 2 AGP
0000:00:10.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV34M [GeForce FX Go5200] (rev a1)
0001:01:0b.0 Host bridge: Apple Computer Inc. UniNorth 2 PCI
0001:01:12.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03)
0001:01:17.0 ff00: Apple Computer Inc. KeyLargo/Intrepid Mac I/O
0001:01:18.0 USB Controller: Apple Computer Inc. KeyLargo/Intrepid USB
0001:01:19.0 USB Controller: Apple Computer Inc. KeyLargo/Intrepid USB
0001:01:1a.0 USB Controller: Apple Computer Inc. KeyLargo/Intrepid USB
0001:01:1b.0 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 43)
0001:01:1b.1 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 43)
0001:01:1b.2 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB 2.0 (rev 04)
0002:02:0b.0 Host bridge: Apple Computer Inc. UniNorth 2 Internal PCI
0002:02:0d.0 ff00: Apple Computer Inc. UniNorth/Intrepid ATA/100
0002:02:0e.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Apple Computer Inc. UniNorth 2 FireWire (rev 81)
0002:02:0f.0 Ethernet controller: Apple Computer Inc. UniNorth 2 GMAC (Sun GEM) (rev 80)

I'm running successfully Xorg on it.

I aim to compile a 2.6.9 kernel. I suppose that the latest kernel from
kernel.org should be ok... On x86, it is a piece of cake for me. (I
did succeed to compile a 2.6.7 kernel... but)

What I did not succeed is:
configuring a working suspend to disk - what is the patch to be
  applied, if any?

have the pmbuttons woking for me. I would like the poweroff button
working properly, and I would also like my machine to not shutdown
  suddenly when inactive....

have the LCD back light be turned off when the cover is closed

I will make a slide presentation (with advi). How do I have to
configure the kernel, the /etc/X11/Xorg.conf file, and what buttons
should I press to send the video signal to the projector?

Most of the items have been discussed on this list, but I fail to get
a clear big picture.

What is the recommended .config for my machine (for 2.6.9)? What are
the recommended patches?

Sorry for asking all this - most have been answered, but I don't grasp
it. Apparently, more people have a 15" powerbook (under Debian/Sid)
than a 12" one...

Regards.
