ibook 2.2, radeon 7500 and opengl

Hello

I am using XFree86 Version 4.3.99.12 (DRI trunk) and kernel 
 2.6.7-powerpc from debian packages. Could anyone tell me how to
 configure the system so i could get an working opengl acceleration.
 Do I have to recompile dri modules etc ?
