Yes it's probably a firewall issue but I've so far been unsuccessful in tracking down the problem. I've checked the router settings and everything looks fine (also, I can connect other computers using ethernet and they work fine). I then ran dpkg-reconfigure etherconf and selected dhcp and the entry in /etc/network/interfaces looks fine...any ideas?
