ok, which of the kernels did you try ? For yaboot you need :
vmlinux-2.4.25-power3

Ok, that responds to the question. you need the -pmac subarch, since you
use yaboot. The -chrp-rs6k is used for booting directly from the OF or
netbooting too.

Harmless, and i just fixed it for 2.4.25-4 anyway.
