Thanks for the files Michel.. I saved them in the appropriate folders, changed 
permissions to 755, stopped the pmud daemon and restarted it. Still have the 
same behavior where the display goes off, then on and then off (and to 
sleep).. am I missing some step or do I have to reboot or so?
