Does glxgears work? Can you test somehow (e.g. with ctrl-alt-backspace)
if it's still running or locked up? In the latter case, if you're using
agpgart, try without, and vice versa.

Sure, lots; the ones I like most are armagetron, billard-gl, bzflag,
chromium, crack-attack, flightgear, foobillard, pinball, quake2,
snes9x-opengl, space-orbit, vegastrike.
Not games, but still fun: amoeba, celestia, gliv, lightspeed, rsxs,
stellarium, xt.
apt-cache showpkg libgl1 for a complete list of packages using OpenGL.
