I have UseFBDev set to "True". What do you mean by "needs to be active" ?
dmesg gives me:

aty128fb: Rage128 Pro PF (AGP) [chip rev 0x1] 16M 128-bit SDR SGRAM (1:1)

so I assume it's there and active.


Any ideas ?
