stability problems with CONFIG_HIGHMEM

[I subscribe to this list; do not CC me on replies.]

So that I can access all 1024MB of my memory, I recompiled
kernel-image-2.4.22-powerpc with CONFIG_HIGHMEM=y.

The stability leaves a little bit to be desired, as can be seen at the
following URLs:

http://redwald.deadbeast.net/tmp/kernel_fuckup_1.jpeg
http://redwald.deadbeast.net/tmp/kernel_fuckup_2.jpeg

(The images are fairly large.)

Does anyone else have stability problems when using CONFIG_HIGHMEM?
