Two solutions are possibles :

mirroring : clone the LCD on the CRT (vga ou projector)

At work : I need clone for my courses, and DRI works with this solution
(Tuxracer in a ~ 4mx3m sreeen is very fun :-) )

You can as well read DVD/divx , with OverlayOnCRTC2 option.

But it's not possible to see correctly DVD yet, because there is no 
hardware mpeg processing available for now, and it's to slow (for my 
combo@700)


xinerama : extended desktop

At home : extended desktop is really a good solution for a lot of reasons...


Now, I have no other solution than restart gdm, after changed a symbolic 
link for the configuration I need.
