dmasound hangs when changing cpu speed

Hi there,

first I´m using 2.4.22-pre4-ben0 with dmasound on my Powerbook G4 1GHz.
(yes I should update, i will, soon...)

If I change the cpu frequency often while playing music, the dmasound
hangs until I reboot. Killing all processes that use /dev/dsp doesn´t
help. I cannot unload the dmasound modules, because the kernel says
they´re still in use ...

if you change your cpu frequency not often, this isn´t a big problem.
but, when using cpudyn you can´t listen to the full length of 1 song.
if you do not use the machine you have a good chance to hear more
than one song :)

This happens with cpudyn and also when changing the frequency manual.
When you change it manually, you have to do this many times before the
sound hangs.

Is this an already known (or maybe fixed) problem?

c ya,

Michael
