Hmm, thats interesting. One of the reasons I'm interested in trying Reiserfs
is that Ext3 seems to ocassionally produce huge spikes in CPU usage which 
is very detrimental to realtime audio processing (my little area of interest).

Maybe I should try Reiserfs on my desktop first.
