Re: Slow performance in X Windows



have you tried using a light-weight WM such as Fluxbox, BlackBoc, IceWM,
ect?

I use fluxbox on my 8500, with its built-in video, and it seems to work
pretty well. (passing the argument: video=ofonly) and running X @
1024x768x15
