ATI is not Nvidia, and they also don't provide the full docs, in
particular i think some stuff regarding the video output (for tv and
such) is missing. I don't have the docs though, so i may be wrong. ATI
also releases closed source drivers no, which are more uptodate, but
maybe they don't have ppc ones also.

That said, most DRI developers are hacking the ATI drivers, but i have
seen no hint of r300 DRI development.
