Pardon my ignorance, but I thought I needed pbbuttonsd to get F1 and F2 to change brightness.
The PMU handles F1 and F2 itself, unless that function is disabled. Works fine for me. I believe this only works for builtin displays, though, and certainly only for "ADB" keyboards (that is, builtin keyboards). Segher
