Panic'ing 2.4.21-pre4 on a PPC604e (IBM 830 Carolina) - Patches?
debian-powerpc,
The box is currently running what seems to be a heavily patched 2.2.13
(MSK 1999). This kernel is _reall_ old, and resides on a boot floppy
that I attempt to keep in pristine condition.

Suggested patches?
I know about the firmware vs. Linux CHS drive geometry mismatch, and
that's not the issue. I'd just like to be able to boot and test a 2.4.x
kernel :) Many thanks.
