You won't be able to boot debian anymore, mac os X will boot by default.
But there is a way to get yaboot back. For that, you need to make a copy
of your kernel to a HFS or HFS+ partition. Then, the procedure is nearly
the same than in

with the difference, that you will have to edit the yaboot.conf file. As
described in the link above, copy the four files on the HFS or HFS+
partition. Under Mac OS, with TextEdit you have to add these lines:
device=hd:
root=/dev/hda11
image=/vmlinux
label=Linux
read-only
and then, reboot your machine and launch OpenFirmware (press
simultaneously). There, enter boot hd:X,yaboot
replace X with the partition number where you copied the kernel. Then,
yaboot should start, press <tab> to prevent yaboot to start the standard
kernel and to see the possible choices. You should see your entry, enter
it and press enter. If that does not work, enter "help" and try
different partition numbers. You do not need to start Mac Os each time
in order to edit yaboot.conf, try to find the right options with the
yaboot help. Once you've booted Linux, run ybin (in your case edit
/etc/yaboot.conf and modify the entry for mac os x) and then run ybin.
BEWARE! This procedure is only possible if you use a kernel that works
with your debian installation and if you did not repartition your hard
drive. Make tests before you install Mac Os X in order to see if it
works. Be very carefull, you really can lose all your stuff, you have
been warned!
