Thanks for all the help everyone, that fixed the problem. I compiled the
IDE CDROM support as a Module and compiled scsi-emulation into the kernel
and it now works fine. I also removed the append="hdb=scsi hdb=ide-scsi
hdb=scsi-ide" from yaboot.conf and everything still works great.
