Have you tried without AGP? Isn't it a problem of XFree86 4.2 vs 4.1
rather than the benh tree?

This is a bug in the r128 and radeon drivers,
http://www.penguinppc.org/~daenzer/XFree86-4.2/patches/ati-indirectBuffer.diff
is a workaround. The radeon driver has been fixed correctly in DRI CVS.
