Huh? /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer are the OSS (Open Sound System) I/O and
mixer devices, respectively. /dev/audio is the Sun audio compatibility
device. All of them are different interfaces to one and the same kernel
sound driver. ALSA isn't a daemon but the Advanced Linux Sound
Architecture, a replacement for OSS which provides compatibility for it.
