No kernel options, just install the 'powerpc-utils' package. Then you
can use the 'trackpad' command line tool (as root) to change the
touchpad's behavior. If you want taps disabled, run 'trackpad notap'.
'trackpad -h' will show you what options can be passed to it to put the
touchpad into its different modes.
