	I guess that to learn such things the best way would be to
	subscribe to debian-user. I also have heard that there are
	some books that document Debian (one that even is supposedly
	freely available in the repository), but I have never read
	anything of that.

	Anyway, to solve your problem, have a look at
	/etc/network/interfaces .
