problem with dmasound_pmac with 2.4.19-pre(6)

Hello,

I'm using Woody usually with 2.4-benh kernel on G4. Sound with
2.4.18-ben0 worked without problems.

Now I rsynced penguinppc.org::linux-2.4-benh and compiled a new
kernel. Since that sound seems to be broken at least for me 8-(.

At boottime I got the following (sorry for long lines - I tried my
best ;-) ):

ursa:/home/georg# modprobe -v dmasound_pmac
/sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/i2c/i2c-core.o
Using /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/i2c/i2c-core.o
Symbol version prefix ''
/sbin/insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/sound/dmasound/\
	dmasound_pmac.o
Using /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/sound/\
      dmasound/dmasound_pmac.o
/lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/sound/dmasound/dmasound_pmac.o:\
	 unresolved symbol pmu_unregister_sleep_notifier
/lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/sound/dmasound/dmasound_pmac.o:\
	 unresolved symbol pmu_register_sleep_notifier
/lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/sound/dmasound/dmasound_pmac.o:\
	 insmod
	 /lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/sound/dmasound/\
	 dmasound_pmac.o failed
# delete i2c-core
/lib/modules/2.4.19-pre6-ben0/kernel/drivers/sound/dmasound/dmasound_pmac.o:\
	 insmod dmasound_pmac failed

After that there was the following situation:

ursa:/home/georg# lsmod
Module Size Used by Not tainted
...
dmasound_core 13688 0 (unused)
soundcore 4840 0 [dmasound_core]

So there lacks everything concerning i2c and dmasound_pmac.

Is anybody experiencing similar behavior? Is there any fix at the
moment?

TIA for any hints &

have a good time ;-)
