	You mean the device doesn't show up when you issue lspci? If
	yes, then are you using a kernel from the 2.2 series?

	I had similar things happening to me regarding video (i.e., it
	was being used as fb device but not listed with lspci) while
	using a 2.2 kernel.

	Changing to a 2.4 kernel solved the issue.
