A new one or an old one? I'll assume the former; they're much more
powerful but not quite as well supported yet.

Yes! Probably harder to set up than an x86 box, but the result is much
nicer. :) Hardware support is also developing nicely except for the
Winmodem-style internal modem.

Works of course.

The trackpad has only one button. You can emulate the others with keys,
but do yourself a favour and use a decent USB mouse. :)

There's no native Photoshop for MacOS X yet, right? You can run MacOS 9
inside Linux with MOL. Packages are available.
