X11 hung _ help needed
Here is a brief description of the problem and a copy of the XFree86.0.log
file.
If anybody knows of this problem or can give me a hint as where to look for
a solution, I would highly appreciate it.

The kernel loads fine except for the ethernet card which is not much
of a problem for the time being (it worked fine with the version 2.4
of the kernel but that one hung on some more important things during
installation.) When I first configured XFree86, during the installation,
I configured it for the built-in video controller and it worked. I
managed to get either KDE or Gnome running on 800x600. Due to the
memory limitation of the ATI controller it could not run 24-bit
color in higher resolutions. But when I try to reconfigure XFree86
(running dpk-reconfigure xserver-xfree86) to run the video through
the Voodoo3 controller, it hangs giving the following log (this one
is when I try to plug the Siemens monitor, but it is essentially
the same with the Hansol one.) BTW, I have no problems using either
or both video cards in MacOS.
