Well, what exactly is the problem? :) Apps get the same events as xev...
Is Shift_R bound to the shift modifier (xmodmap -pm) ?
PS: The only XKB docs are at http://www.tsu.ru/~pascal/en/xkb/ . It
would be nice if someone took the time to really fix this mess once and
for all instead of resorting to yet another hack.
