RE: SAMBA Problem

I haven't been able to resolve my issue either. I'm unsure what either
of your issues might be; this is the document I used to get set up:
http://us1.samba.org/samba/ftp/docs/htmldocs/Samba-PDC-HOWTO.html, and
it seems to be working for the most part.

Subject: SAMBA Problem

<debian-powerpc@lists.debian.org>
Okay I'm trying to get on the samba list and i'm on your ppc list. I'm
trying to get samba running on an IBM-Compatible to run under a windows
browser. I keep getting the error from the windows 2000 client
\\SAMBACOMPUTER was not available
The network path was not found

Even though it shows up fine on the windows browser
the error log says "passdb/bdb_smbpasswd.c:pdb_betsampwnam(1367) unable
to
open passdb database.
Though I don't think they are related

Any Ideas?
(i'm a ppc guy too. its okay)
