I hat the same problem on i386 yesterdy, the installer drops the default
route after downloading the realease file, just set it manually and
everythig goes right....

you won't succeed, the iboo2 does not detect the hdd in newer hardware
realeases when a cd is in the drive while booting the kernel...
Netinstall is the saver way...
