Path is not set after installation
Hallo,
I'm very new at the 'Debian PPC Club'. I have installed Debian 'Potato' on my
UMAX ( MAC 9000 compatible ) Computer. Linux is comming up and X11 shows the
Gnome/Debian GUI.
But the mouse ( one button ) refuses to work. The pointer just doesn't move.
To find out the reason for this behavior, I tried 'man /dev/mouse' but even
'man man' refuses to work.
When i type in something like 'cat /dev/mouse' i can see that my mouse works
and that /dev/mouse is pointing to the correct device.
I think something went wrong during the installation process. maybe some pathes
or links are missing. Has anybody an idea how to solve this problem ?
ps.: The manual doesn't treat any errors and the support / help database could
give me any help cause this problem seems not to be related to a package or
something i could find in the database.
