probably because the current woody bootfloppies are broken. root.bin
is trunicated.

Indeed, potato root.bin works fine.

Now for the next bit. Does anyone know the magic setting to get quik to boot on a SuperMac C500?

ofpath returns a not supported on this hardware error. I tried getting the nv environment to match my 7200/75 (where quik works fine) with:

nvsetupenv boot-device scsi/sd@0:0

I also tried:
nvsetupenv boot-device scsi-int/sd@0:0

drive is connected to the internal MESH scsi card.

Thanks,
