Glide is only relevant as a kind of HAL for the DRI for 3dfx hardware anymore.
Kostas Gewrgiou had it kind of working at one point, don't know what became of
it.

3D on Linux means OpenGL, and hardware accelerated OpenGL with XFree86 4.x
means DRI. r128 is working in 4.1, I hope to get radeon working soon as well.
tdfx could be done. mga currently needs agpgart so no dice yet.

There is also utah-glx for XFree86 3.x but it's far inferior to the DRI and I
don't know its status on PPC.
