This isn't about the script but the trackpad save/restore code inside
pmud. Anyway, blocking the read or returning -EAGAIN while the device is
unavaliable is something we need anyway IMNSHO.

You mean they made a device that works just like a regular ADB device but
can't be read from at all times? Hard to believe even for Apple. 

Caching ADB registers inside the kernel - will that work with /dev/adb
access or just ioctls?
