the OF on oldworld macs is so fragile things would break all the time. say
the words "default catch" and developers shudder. ;) there are workarounds
galore and some only apply to a specific computer model.
miboot is the cleanest and most reliable way to boot these machines. it
probably needs some work in a multiboot environment however (macos
un-blesses miboot's system folder at every chance)
