The screen section of my XF86Config file looks like
this:
# Server for the Linux Frame Buffer Device
Section "Screen"
Driver "FBDev"
So the driver is FBDev. I changed this to "fbdev" but
it made no difference
Yet, at the end of the screen output of startx the
following line appears:
(--) FBDev: Using cfb32 driver
Caught signal 11.
This seems to suggest that I am using the cfb32 driver
whatever that is.
Any other ideas,
