Sergio,

Report your experience as a bug on the irda-common package.  If
you don't, it's unlikely the maintainer will be able to fix the
problem.

(Note that there's a similar-sounding bug on irda-common (#62203
-- i can't remove irda-common), but with somewhat different error
messages.)
