Ok, then, is there anyone who'd give me 30mins on their box to compile a
kernel? I've tried cross-compiling from OS X (no ncurses, ncurses doesn't
build, no bash for make  config), and there doesn't seem to be a package for
cross-compiling to powerpc in debian. If there's an easy way to do that, I'd
be just as greatful. I think gcc is all I really need anyway.
