I have now simplified the installation instruction of pmud. The enclosed /etc/init.d/pmud is required in place of the original. It all seems to work, except that it does not want to be triggered at start-up. Permissions are ok. Ideas are welcome. We should have our own package for it... I am going home... Sergio
