as a matter of fact i have a kernel with support for the proc system
but there is no /proc/hardware. i don't see it on my intel machine,
nor on my sparc, nor on my alpha. i do have a /proc/cpuinfo though.
this is the output:
processor : 0
cpu : unknown (12)
clock : 400MHz

bogomips : 796.26

any constructive suggestions?
