Ok. I have now in http://www.uoa.gr/~kmargar/debian/kde the following
packages:

kdeadmin_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdebase_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdegames_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdegraphics_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdelibs0g-dev_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdelibs0g_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdemultimedia_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdenetwork_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdesupport0g-dev_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdesupport0g_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
kdeutils_1.1-1_powerpc.deb
korganizer_1.1-1_powerpc.deb

Two notes on the packages:

a) In some cpp files, the egcs compiled produced undefined symbols on
'inlined' classes/methods. I had to manually comment out the inline
keyword and the code linked ok. (that with egcs 2.91.58-2.1, will try
again with the new one when it is out , along with glibc 2.1).

b) for some strange reason, kdenetwork .deb is broken. I have compiled and
installed it 3 times but when I try to install it (dpkg -i kdenet*.deb)
it produces the following output:

(Reading database ... 52515 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking kdenetwork (from kdenetwork_1.1-1_powerpc.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing kdenetwork_1.1-1_powerpc.deb (--install):
corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 kdenetwork_1.1-1_powerpc.deb

The strange thing is that I find no sign of errors in the building and
installing process, or when I try dpkg --info or --contents, only when
installing it. I would really appreciate any hints. I can't possibly
upload the source tree as it is huge.

c) All files were built using a simple script kindly provided by Russell
Corker, whom I wish to thank (he made the 1.1 i386 packages).
