I don't know what APUS means. Description of this computer:
Umax APUS 2000 PPC603e/160 Mhz, 80 MB RAM, MESH SCSI, SCSI CDROM,
1.2 GB IDE hardddisk, Digital 21041 net card.

It has some strange firmware - no prompt/messages before booting.
In case that is does not boot (e.g. bad boot variables in NVRAM) the only
possibility is to reset NVRAM by Command+Option+P+R, boot MacOS and change
boot values in MacOS utility named Boot Variables.
